Details: Proceeds benefit the students at Summit including the Student Government Association.

Try Hockey For Free Day
When: Saturday
Where: Bowie Ice Arena, 3330 Northview Drive, Bowie
Details: USA Hockey and over 500 local programs across the country will encourage kids, ages 4 to 9, to come to a local participating rink and try youth hockey as part of the NHL's Come Play Hockey Month. 

Severna Park Artisan Boutique
When: Saturday
Where: Holy Grounds Community Center, 617 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park
Details: Featuring fine handmade crafts from local artists, the Severna Park Artisan Boutique will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Militia Muster
When: Saturday, Sunday
Where: Historic London Town and Gardens, 839 Londontown Rd., Edgewater
Details: Join the residents of Anne Arundel County as they partake in the annual militia muster. The re-enactors will have clothing and equipment reflective of the period. Learn about colonial weapons and life and maybe practice some drilling, too.

Trinity United Methodist's Family Fall Festival
When: Saturday
Where: Trinity United Methodist Church 1300 West St., Annapolis
Details: The event will include food, games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, music and much, much more. Admission is free.

Support Local Wounded Veteran, Cpl. Becky Fletcher
When: Saturday
Where: Stan & Joe's Saloon, 173 Mitchells Chance Rd., Edgewater
Details: Becky suffered the loss of her right leg, several pelvic fractures, and a neck injury which required fusion surgery, along with other injuries and complications in a motorcycle accident on June 7.
