Has This Sign Ever Thrown You Off?

I began working as editor of Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch in January, but it wasn't until this weekend that I realized you don't have to make a U-turn every time you leave

The sign sitting just along the small road in front of Yellowfin points north for Edgewater and south for Annapolis. I knew this had to be wrong, but then I recently realized it's actually just directing cars on which road to take.

I was semi-embarrassed by this blunder of mine (specifically the extra gas I've been spending to make unnecessary U-turns), but I'm glad to finally know there's an easier way to get home!
