Honey Hive Launch Party Set For September 6
There will be an art auction at the event featuring the work of a local artist.
Though the new local bakery has been open since June the Honey Hive official launch party has been set for September 6.
The party will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hive Hive in South River Colony and feature an art auction by local artist and Southern High School art teacher Michael Bell.
Honey Hive is owned and operated by local resident and Cakes By Rachel owner Rachel Powers and her mom. She opened opened her new restaurant quickly last in June when Kahve closed on June 9. Honey Hive opened up for business in Kahve's location in just one week.
Honey Hive Is located at 155 Mitchells Chance Rd. in Edgewater. Current hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
