Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Two-Vehicle Accident

A fire department spokesman said a 68-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in Galesville.

 

A 68-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when a car struck him Friday morning near Muddy Creek Road and Galeville Road in Galesville, authorities said. 

According to Anne Arundel County Fire Chief Michael Cox, firefighters responded to a call at about 7:20 a.m. for the report of a crash involving a pedestrian and two vehicles.

Cox said the pedestrian was badly hurt.

A Maryland State Police helicopter transported the 68-year-old man to the Prince George's Trauma Center in Cheverly with serious and life-threatening injuries, Cox said.
