Sometimes, having a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass isn't the most convenient way to get around town, especially when temperatures in the 100s prohibit the engine from working properly.

However, thanks to the members of the Southern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce, car troubles didn't keep Patch from getting some great photos from Saturday's community gathering. 

The , hosted by the chamber, brough togther residents and business leaders for an all-day event featuring food, games and fun. Whether it was a booth hosted by Perfect Pet Resort in Lothian or a Cub Scout sailboat competition, there was plenty to check out amid the hot June temperatures. 

Cindy Morgan, president of the Southern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce, shared these great pictures with Patch, capturing the fun from Saturday's event.
