Police Ask for the Public's Help in Identifying Hit and Run Driver in Glen Burnie

Anne Arundel County Police released a composite sketch of the woman they believe was driving the car that struck a Baltimore man and fled the scene July 14 in Brooklyn Park.

Police describe the woman as being a 30-to 40-year-old black woman, standing 5-feet-6-inches or shorter, having short hair and a medium frame of about 135 to 150 pounds. She was seen wearing wearing pink medical scrubs the day of the accident, police said in a press release.

It is believed she was driving a sport utility vehicle (SUV), possibly maroon in color, with a body style similar to a Ford Escape or Jeep Liberty. The SUV is believed to have damage to the hood and passenger side headlamp, windshield and mirror.

According to police Alex Canales Hernandez, 25, of Baltimore was attempting to cross Ritchie Highway at Bon Air Avenue the morning of July 14 when he was hit. He later died from his injuries.
