Dog Death in Deale: Police Seek Information
A 3-year-old mixed breed dog was found dead by its owner Friday morning.

A 3-year-old Beagle mix was found dead near its owner's Deale home Friday morning. Police are seeking the public's help in gathering information about the incident.
Anne Arundel County officers responded to the 6000 block of Allwine Avenue in Deale at around 11 a.m. Friday morning, according to a police press release. At the home, police said they spoke with the owner of the 3-year-old Beagle/Boston Terrier mix named Marley.
The dog's owner reported that he let Marley out into the woods near his home at around 9 a.m. The owner went looking for Marley shortly after letting him out and found Marley dead with a shoulder wound about 20 yards into the trees.

Officers and detectives searched the neighborhood and collected evidence from the scene for investigation as a possible animal abuse case. No suspects were identified. Animal control also responded to the scene to take the dog’s body.
