POLL: Top 5 Suggestions to Replace Old Giant

Last week, I asked the Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch community , and you guys didn’t disappoint.

, providing almost 20 different suggestions for what you’d like to see fill the vacant business space. As part of Patch’s new feature, Vision for Vacancies, I wanted to collect the most popular suggestions and allow you, the reader, to vote on your favorite recommendation.

Of all the suggestions, fifteen different users said they want to see a YMCA or indoor youth complex come to Edgewater. One commenter, TM, went further and said the community “desperately needs” en establishment of this nature.

The other most popular suggestion were for Trader Joe’s, an ice-skating rink, a bowling alley and a Lowes.

Only , but that comment was immediately met by another user who, and I quote, “NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO…”

I only included the top five suggestions, but always fell free to speak your mind in the comments if what you want isn’t listed in the poll.

So again, the question is, what do you want to replace this vacant business space?
