Seahawks Narrowly Edge North County, 4-2
Despite some late-inning drama, South River's baseball team took home the "W."
North County came out swinging early during their at bats but were held to only two runs against the who scored four times in seven innings at .

North County plated one in the first and again in the sixth whereas the Seahawks crossed home in the in the second inning after pitcher Craig Sheridan singled and his courtesy runner Brody Raimondo was moved around by Gabe Vertucci, , and Austin Wright connecting.

In the fourth, Sheridan again singled and Vertucci doubled resulting in their two runs. Later in the sixth, Jake Gratz was walked but scored the final run when his courtesy runner Leo Donovan made the rounds. Joe Scott also doubled during the game.
Sheridan, who pitched the complete game striking out four and earned the win, had the tying run on first in the top of the seventh inning. But the final North County batter lined out to Wright covering third, ending the game in dramatic fashion.
