South River High: Winter Sports Get Going

There was very little gap between the fall and winter sports seasons at local high schools. 

Winter sports get going this week with scrimmages, and some regular season matchups are scheduled for next week. 

Here's a look at what's happening at South River High. Check back in the next few days for upcoming schedules for other local schools.

Boys Basketball 
-Dec. 7, 6:45 p.m. at Southern High
-Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m. vs. Patuxent High

Girls Basketball
-Thursday, 6:30 p.m. game vs Huntingtown High
-Dec. 7, 5 p.m. at Southern High
-Dec. 11, 7 p.m. at Riverdale Baptist High

Wrestling
-Wednesday, 4 p.m. at South River High vs. Broadneck High
-Friday, Dec. 7, 5:30 p.m. vs. Reservoir High
-Dec. 10, 6 p.m. at Urbana High
-Dec. 11, 4 p.m. at North County High 

Swimming 
-Meets next week on Wednesday, facing Arundel and Glen Burnie high schools

Indoor Track
-Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. scrimmage at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex (PGSLC)
-Dec. 10, 3:30 p.m. vs. Broadneck High at (PGSLC)
