UPDATE: Driver Flees, Teens Injured In South County Crash of Stolen Car
Three teens were hospitalized in a crash early Monday in the Friendship area of Anne Arundel County.

Updated (3:05 p.m.)—A teen suffered life-threatening injuries in an early morning accident in Friendship where the driver of a stolen car fled the scene, police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said.
At 1:39 a.m. crews responded to the 7000 block of Lake Shore Drive for a collision, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department Lieutenant Jack Beall.
Three girls, all under the ages of 18, were left in the car, Mulcahy said. Both officials said one was seriously injured and flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Two additional patients, whose ages were not known, were transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital, accoding to Beall.
After an investigation, police determined the vehicle the teens were in was stolen from Calvert County, Mulcahy said. The Calvert County's Sheriff's Office responded and recovered the stolen vehicle.
Calvert County Police said they eventually located the 18-year-old driver at his home in Calvert County.
Mulcahy said, charges against the driver in Anne Arundel County are pending the results of the investigation.
