What would you like to see fill this vacant storefront on Mayo Road in Edgewater?
Many Edgewater residents were sad to see that after less than one year, LilyRose Cakes, Cupcakes & Confections abruptly ceased operations last week.
At least one local resident was not surprised to see the bakery go. Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch commenter TM said:
I wasn't sure this place would make it to begin with. Hate to see a business leave but I just didn't know what kind of demand there was.
The storefront now sits nearly vacant, awaiting a new tenant. What type if business would you like to see set up shop at 8 Mayo Rd., in the space left open by LilyRose? A cafe? A clothing boutique? Another bakery? Is there some type of retailer missing from Edgewater?
