West/Rhode Rivers Safe to Swim Except Holly Hills

For the second week in a row, the majority of the West and Rhode rivers are safe to swim in.

The following information was shared by West/Rhode Riverkeeper and Anne Arundel County Councilman Chris Trumbauer (D-6th District). 

The newest bacteria monitoring results are in. , the Holly Hills site near the head of Bearneck Creek in the Rhode River contained a level of bacteria above the EPA's single test safe swimming limit.

All other stations in both the West and Rhode Rivers were well below that limit. To see the full results of this week's sampling, click HERE
