Wright Hits Game-Winning Single to Defeat Great Mills

Nick Sia led South River's baseball team by going 3-3 Friday afternoon.

Austin Wright's hit in the bottom of the seventh inning earned a victory over Great Mills on Friday.

went 3-3 at the plate and South River (8-2, 5-2) took home a 7-6 victory. Sia doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings. Austin Wright drove in the winning run on a single in the bottom of the seventh.

Reliever Bryan Shores got the win for the Seahawks. He allowed one run over three innings. He also struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.
