Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

The dream of Martin Luther King Jr. can be seen almost every day at school playgrounds across the United States—to see "little black boys and black girls... join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers."

Nearly 50 years after King's speech, his message still carries weight along with its powerful message of equality, understanding and unity. 

As the nation celebrates the life and mission of King, people across the country are reminded of King's influence even at the most basic levels of everyday life.
