5 Dunkin’ Regional Scholarship Winners Hail From Howard County
Dunkin' and its franchisees in the DMV area awarded each of these recipients with a $2,500 scholarship to pursue an undergraduate degree.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Ten students from across Howard, Harford and Prince George's counties are scholarship recipients of the annual Dunkin’ Regional Scholarship Program that awarded $125,000 in scholarships to 50 local students throughout Maryland, D.C., and northern Virginia.
Dunkin’ and its franchisees in the DMV area awarded each of these recipients with a $2,500 scholarship to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school of their choice in the fall.

Recipient: Yasmin Razak
Hometown: Elkridge
High School: Howard High School
University: University of Maryland – College Park
Bio: Yasmin has recently been involved in her school's Class of 24 Class Council, National Honor Society, English National Honor Society, Travel Club, Asian American Association, Baking Club, Shelter Supporters and Humanitarian Club. She is also currently employed at Dunkin' and has been working there for almost two years. In her spare time, Yasmin enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading, baking, going to the gym, dancing and being outdoors.

Hometown: Ellicott City
High School: Mount Hebron High School
University: Bucknell University
Bio: Caroline received the Howard County Striders David Tripp Scholar/Athlete Award and the Viking Backers Norseman Scholarship. She was also awarded the Bucknell University Dean's Scholarship. In 2023, she was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and was named a 2024 National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.

Hometown: Ellicott City
High School: Centennial High School
University: Georgetown University
Bio: Allie served as the president of the Howard County Association of Student Councils and as the vice president of the Centennial High School Student Government Association. She received the President's Volunteer Service Award in Gold and the Bowen Leadership Group Scholarship Award. Allie earned an Honorable Mention at NAIMUN, qualified for the NCFL and was the debate captain. She was also the co-president of Model UN and the president of Achieve Success Together Tutoring.

High School: Reservoir High School
University: University of Maryland – College Park
Bio: Alanna is a University of Maryland Banneker/Key Scholar and a recipient of University Honors. She served as the captain of the Varsity Tennis team and participated in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Alanna was the concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra and received the National School Orchestra Award. She is also a Maryland Merit Scholar.

High School: Gilman School
University: Carnegie Mellon University
Bio: Toward the end of the school year, Thomas was fortunate enough to intern at ClearBridge Investments in Baltimore, a global asset management firm, for two weeks. This experience exposed him to more of the finance industry and potential career paths that he had not previously considered. He was also awarded the Creighton Hockey Award, given to the hockey team member who best combines ability, sportsmanship and team play.
