Funerals Set for Ellicott City Shooting Victims

Funerals are scheduled this week for Mary-Marguerite Kohn, priest at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, and Brenda Brewington, an administrator at the church.

Kohn, 62, of Arbutus, and Brenda Brewington, 59, of Ellicott City were both .

A friend of Kohn’s family said that the family wanted to donate her organs.

In a sermon at a Boston church, the speaker said Kohn’s organs “will give new life to many, in ways most of us can only imagine.”

From Virginia to Massachusetts, Missouri to Querétaro, México, churches sent their condolences to St. Peter’s on Facebook.

Shelly Amsden wrote: "It is almost 7 a.m. here and I know you are having a service just about now. I wish I could be there. Please know I am with you all in spirit as I cry typing this post. Stay strong!"

Kohn’s funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral Church of the Incarnation, 4 East University Parkway, Baltimore, MD.

A funeral will be held for Brewington at in Ellicott City Thursday, May 10, at 1:30 p.m.
