Nominate a Volunteer for $10,000 Scholarship

Looking to give back to a young person who has volunteered in Ellicott City? Department Stores are accepting applications for the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship program. Through the scholarship, ten win winners will be chosen from the nationwide pool of applicants for a $10,000 scholarship for post-secondary education.

Two hundred students will win $1,000 toward post-secondary education and two nominees from each Kohl’s store nationwide will win a $50 Kohl’s gift card.

“Through the Kohl’s Cares®  Scholarship Program, Kohl’s recognizes young volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and passion to helping others and bettering the communities we live in,” Julie Gardner, Kohl’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer said in a statement. “During a time of economic uncertainty and high tuition costs, it’s important to support extraordinary kids by investing in their future.”
