Operation Prom Dress Needs Your Dresses

St. John's Lane Elementary School's 5th grade Girl Scout Troop 1514 is collecting used prom dresses, shoes, purses, jewelry and tuxes for girls and boys in need of prom wear.

You can drop them off as follows:

• On March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Giant Food on Route 40.
• Han's Cleaners (St. John's Lane Station next to Vocelli's) during business hours by April 15.  You can have your dress cleaned there for 60 percent off.
• After the Runway (across from Rita's) during business hours by April 15.

So please search your closet for any prom or bridesmaids dresses (long or short),  fancy jewelry, long chains, cocktail rings, small clutches, formal purses, snazzy shoes or any other item that could be donated (including tuxedos). 

All items will be donated at a fashion show sponsored by Creative Kids Cockeysville.

Tax receipts can be provided upon request.
