Complete Streets Project Along Cradlerock Way To Be Discussed At Open House
Officials will be holding an open house where the community can learn more about the next Complete Streets project along Cradlerock Way.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The community is invited to attend an open house Tuesday to learn more about the plans for a Complete Streets project along Cradlerock Way.
The open house will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Lake Elkhorn Middle School in Columbia.
The project will help with the flow of local commuter, bicycle and pedestrian traffic along Cradlerock Way. Design improvements include:

- Construction of raised intersections at select locations along the corridor; and
- Construction of a raised median along and two additional design alternatives for the Cradlerock Way corridor to provide safe and accessible walkways and bikeways for pedestrians and cyclists.
Howard County Department of Public Works staff will be on hand to discuss the proposed alternatives, design and construction work, answer questions and gather public comment.
