Fire Destroys Attached Garage At Howard County Home: Official
A fire broke out in an attached garage of a Howard County home Wednesday morning. Two residents have been displaced, officials report.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — An attached garage caught on fire Wednesday morning and two adult residents have been displaced, officials report.
The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at a home located in the 3600 block of Paul Harris Court in Ellicott City. Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services firefighters arrived to find heavy fire pouring out of the home's attached garage. The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes, officials said.
The source of the fire remains under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal, but the gas-powered vehicle parked in the garage has been ruled out as the source of the fire, which currently is believed to have been accidental in nature, officials reported.

The Red Cross is helping the two residents. There were no reported injuries.
