Here's Where To Find National Night Out Parties Planned For Aug. 6 Across Howard County

Two dozen National Night Out parties have been planned for Aug. 6 across Howard County. Here's where you can find one in your area.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police officers will be in the communities across Howard County Aug. 6 for National Night Out.

Parties will kick off at 5 p.m. at Clarksville Commons, 12230 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, where Chief of Police Greg Der, County Executive Calvin Ball and County Council Chair Deb Jung will welcome community members to the event. This free event will feature police and fire displays, live music, child-friendly activities, games, giveaways and more.

The police department’s Community Outreach Division has helped residents organize 23 neighborhood block parties throughout the county. Police personnel and mascots, as well as partners from Maryland State Police, Howard County States Attorney’s Office, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services will visit neighborhood parties throughout the county.
