$2K Stolen From Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Dept.
Money taken from office drawer in bingo hall.

Baltimore County police are investigating the theft of approximately $2,000 from the Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Department.
A member of the fire station, located at 900 Bowleys Quarters Road, discovered the money was missing after noticing that the door entering the station’s bingo hall was unlocked and the office door inside the hall was forced open, according to police reports.
The station member told police that he also noticed a desk drawer in the office was forced open and the box inside the drawer that contained the money was missing. The theft occurred between 7:30 p.m., July 25 and 8 a.m., July 26.

Officers also spoke with an employee at Beacon Light Marina, which is located across the street from the station, hoping their surveillance video may have recorded anyone entering the building. However, the employee told police that the camera was not working properly at the time.
