Crime Beat: Several Burglaries Reported Throughout Essex
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:
Damsel Road, 1200 block, Aug. 29: A TV, computer, video game consoles and a laptop computer were stolen from a home. They were later recovered at the home next door. Witnesses told police they saw four males and a female enter the victim’s home and remove the items.
High Seas Court, unit block, Aug. 28: Two boys, ages 15 and 17, were arrested after being caught attempting to steal costume jewelry and electronics from the home. The pair gained entry into the home through an unlocked back door.

Eastern Ave., 900 block, Aug. 26-27: Someone broke the side glass door to My Manik Auto before stealing $14 from the register and causing $500 in damage to the door.
Middleborough Road, unit block, Aug. 23-26: A TV, Xbox video game console and video games were stolen from the home after someone broke the glass pane out of the rear door to gain entry into the residence. Total loss: $1,550.

Ute Court, unit block, Aug. 25-26: Heat pump unit internal parts were stolen from the backyard of the vacant home. Total loss: $1,000.
Plastic Court, unit block, Aug. 25: A PlayStation 3, controllers and a “Call to Duty” video game were stolen after an unknown suspect entered the home through an unlocked back door.
Valley Arbor Court, unit block, Aug. 24: A laptop computer was stolen after someone gained entry into the home by manipulating the front door lock. Total loss: $400.
S. Marlyn Ave., 100 block, Aug. 24: Assorted jewelry, including rings, a bracelet and earrings, were taken from the home. Total loss: $5,400.
Timber Creek Court, unit block, Aug. 23: A laptop computer, video games and movies were stolen from an apartment. Total loss: $1,557.98.
