Pedestrian Struck by Car in Middle River
A 19-year-old woman was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with serious injuries.

A woman was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Tuesday morning after being struck by a car near the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Kingston Road in Middle River.
The 19-year-old woman was running in a northbound direction across the eastbound lanes of Eastern Avenue when she was struck by a car as it approached the intersection, according to Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.
The victim was unconscious when she was transported to Bayvew with injuries that Rogers-Feher described as serious but not thought to be life-threatening.

The driver of the car remained on the scene, according to Rogers-Feher.
Police officials did not identify the injured woman nor the driver of the car.
