3 Shootings Reported In Montgomery County In Less Than 24 Hours
At least one person was injured in a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning in Gaithersburg, police said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Authorities are investigating three separate shootings that occurred in less than 24 hours in Montgomery County. At least one person was injured, police said.
Around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Gaithersburg police responded to the 16600 block of South Westland Drive for a report of gunshots heard in the area. A search was conducted, but no evidence of a shooting was found.
About 15 minutes later, Montgomery County police were notified that a man had arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators later determined he was in the 200 block of Swarthmore Avenue in Gaithersburg at the time of the shooting.

Less than three hours later, Gaithersburg police responded to the 800 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard for another report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers searched the area and determined a shooting had taken place. No injuries were reported.
Finally, around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Montgomery County police were dispatched to the 9800 block of Center Way Road in Montgomery Village for a report of a shooting. No injuries were reported, and no suspects are in custody.
