Arson Suspected In Gaithersburg Car Fire: County Officials
Authorities say an arson investigation is underway after a car fire broke out late Monday in Gaithersburg.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — An arson investigation is underway after a car fire broke out late Monday in Gaithersburg, authorities said.
Montgomery County firefighters were dispatched to 300 Marshall St. around 11:30 p.m. for the report of a car fire. By the time crews arrived, the blaze had spread to a second car.
Pete Piringer, spokesman for the county's Fire and Rescue Service, estimates the damage at more than $5,000.
