Car Slams Into Pharmacy In Gaithersburg, No Injuries

A car slammed into the front of Express Pharmacy in Gaithersburg Wednesday morning, officials said.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — A car slammed into a pharmacy in Gaithersburg Wednesday morning, officials said. There were no injuries.

The car ran into the storefront of Express Pharmacy at 16220 Frederick Rd. just before 11 a.m., Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

The driver refused to be transported to the hospital, Piringer said.

A building inspector was requested to evaluate the property damage.

This weekend, two people were injured after a car crashed into a shoe store in Rockville.

The car slammed into Richey & Co. Shoes at 1643 Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza Saturday evening.

There were two employees and a customer in the store at the time of the crash.
