Gaithersburg Crime: Attempted Robbery at Morris Park and More

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for Nov. 5 through Nov. 13. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:

  • An attempted robbery occurred at Morris Park, located at 421 Summit Hall Road, on Friday, Nov. 9, around 7 p.m. The suspects unsuccessfully attempted to remove property from the victim.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 15700 block of Winner Drive between Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
  • An armed robbery occurred in the 17100 block of Queen Victoria Court on Sunday, Nov. 11, just after midnight. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
  • A commercial burglary occurred at the Village Deli, located at 811 Russell Avenue on Sunday, Nov. 11, around 5:45 p.m. Entry to the business was forced and property was taken.
