"Guizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition" Successfully Held at CCACC Academy

Hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Information Office and organized by CCACC Academy, the "Guizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition" was successfully held at CCACC Academy from November 19 to 23, 2025. Introduced through Principal Xiangbo Xia of the American Chinese School, this collaboration established a key partnership between Guizhou and CCACC Academy, promoting the showcasing and cultural exchange of Guizhou's heritage in the U.S. community while building a strong bridge for intangible culture to step onto the global stage.

The exhibition featured multi-ethnic photography, traditional tie-dye, silver craftsmanship, embroidery, and cultural creative products, presenting the artistic beauty and diversity of Guizhou's ethnic cultures. Students and children participated in hands-on tie-dye workshops, transforming their creations into practical items that bring traditional skills into modern life. One of the highlights was the Miao ethnic costume display, where visitors tried on traditional attire and experienced the delicate embroidery, vibrant colors, and silver adornment that define the culture's identity and heritage.

More importantly, the exhibition marked a significant step toward bringing Guizhou's intangible cultural heritage to the world. Handmade works taken home by children, word-of-mouth sharing in the community, and posts across social platforms continued to extend Guizhou's cultural influence and plant its roots in the U.S. With this exhibition, CCACC Academy successfully established a meaningful platform for China–U.S. cultural exchange, leaving a lasting impression of Guizhou's cultural legacy on the international stage.
