Infant Struck By Car In Gaithersburg Toys R Us Parking Lot
An infant in a car seat was struck by a car in the Toys R Us parking lot after the caregiver placed the car seat down, officials said.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — An infant was struck by a car in the Toys R Us parking lot after the caregiver placed the car seat down Wednesday morning in Gaithersburg, police said.
The child sustained non-life-threatening injuries while sitting in the car seat and was transported to the hospital for a check-up, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.
The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. at 600 N Frederick Ave., police said.
