Residents Without Power After Telephone Pole Falls

Some Gaithersburg residents and businesses are without power Tuesday morning after a telephone pole collapsed and brought down power lines.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Some Gaithersburg residents and businesses are without power Tuesday morning after a telephone pole collapsed and brought down power lines, officials said.

The incident happened on Oakmont Avenue between Railroad Avenue and Citation Drive, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

The roads are blocked and local businesses are without power.
