A crash involving a county school bus and several vehicles on Friday afternoon in Gaithersburg sent 10 people to the hospital, including one with life-threatening injuries, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said. The school bus was carrying seven students from Germantown's Clopper Mill Elementary School, said Dana Tofig, a Montgomery County Public Schools spokesman. Seven children and two adults were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Assistant Chief Scott Graham, a county Fire and Rescue Service spokesman, tweeted. "We don't believe there are any serious injuries [to students]," Tofig said. "Some students may have been taken for evaluation at the hospital for precaution." The adult suffering life-threatening injuries was not from the school bus, according to Graham. Tofig said he believed the crash involved two vehicles and "one of them went off and hit our bus."
