DERWOOD, MD — Police are searching for two men they believe broke into a storage shed and stole tires from the National Tire and Battery store in Derwood. The burglary occurred at the NTB store at 15609 Frederick Rd. on Feb. 25.The suspects allegedly forced entry into a storage structure and stole tires from inside. They were caught on surveillance tape fleeing in a blue pickup truck, police said. Investigators are asking residents to look at the enlarged details of the suspects' truck in the surveillance photograph. Anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to call the 1st District Investigative Section at 240-773-6084. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
