UPDATE: Pedestrian Killed By Water Delivery Truck Identified
A 75-year-old man died after he was hit by a water delivery truck while crossing the street in the Asbury Methodist Village Tuesday.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — A 75-year-old man died after he was hit by a water delivery truck in Gaithersburg.
The truck was turning left from Fellowship Circle toward Odendhal Avenue in the Asbury Methodist Village Tuesday afternoon, and hit Elliott Neal Ginsburg, who was crossing Asbury Road. Police say the driver stayed at the scene, and officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to calls about the accident around 3 p.m.
Police are investigating, and asked anyone with information to call CRU detectives at 240-773-6620.
