2 Stabbed As Group Of Teens Shoots Crowd With BB Guns
Montgomery County police said two people were stabbed in a fight after a group of teenage boys fired BB guns at a crowd in Germantown.
GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County police said two people were stabbed in a fight after a group of teenage boys fired BB guns at a crowd in Germantown just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 19500 block of Amaranth Drive.
Investigators said multiple boys who carried BB guns began shooting at a group of people. During a confrontation, one adult male victim was stabbed in the back, and a second adult male victim suffered a slashing wound to his arm.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said in a news release.

When police arrived, a large group of suspects ran away and others drove off toward the dead end of Amaranth Drive.
A perimeter was established, including Maryland State Police helicopter support, and 1st District officers and Maryland-National Capital Park Police units.

After an extensive search, about 15 individuals were detained, but no arrests were made.
