29-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured In Germantown Shooting: Police

One person was seriously injured following a shooting in Germantown Wednesday night, authorities said.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A 29-year-old man has been seriously injured following a shooting in Germantown Wednesday night, authorities said.

Around 11 p.m., officers responding to a report of a shooting in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Rd. found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Montgomery County police said the victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. They do not believe the attack was random.
