Community Use of Indoor Public Facilities Canceled Until April

GERMANTOWN, MD — Indoor community use of Montgomery County public schools and government facilities is canceled through April 30, 2021, officials announced Friday.

The county government says it's in the process of refunding fees for permits. Refunds will be made by check and the process may take up to 20 business days.

If health conditions improve and community use of indoor facilities can proceed, officials will notify the public two weeks ahead of a reopening date. At that time, groups can request reservations online. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
