GERMANTOWN, MD — Pack your popcorn and M&M's. Because Montgomery Parks is extending its pop-up drive-in movie series.

In addition to the event on Oct. 9 (sold out), the parks department will screen flicks on three other dates.

  • Oct. 23, South Germantown Recreational Park, (REGISTER)
  • Oct. 30, South Germantown Recreational Park, (REGISTER)
  • Nov. 6, Wheaton Regional Park, (REGISTER)

The free events are limited to 50 cars, and pre-registration is required. Registered attendees will vote on the movie to be shown.

Parking will open at 6:30 p.m. with designated arrival times to ensure proper traffic flow, county officials said.

Audio will be accessible through an FM station provided during the event. Concessions will not be sold on-site, but movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own food.

Due to COVID-19, people will only be allowed to exit their vehicle to use the restroom. Face coverings are required while outside.
