Garden Of Lights Holiday Display Tickets Are On Sale For 2023 Season

WHEATON, MD — While it doesn't feel like winter in Montgomery County, one holiday attraction is kicking off ticket sales. Tickets are available starting Oct. 10 for Montgomery Parks' popular Garden of Lights exhibit at Brookside Gardens.

The display decorates Brookside Gardens as a winter wonderland. Stroll through the one-half mile, outdoor, walk-through exhibit full of more than a million twinkling lights and glimmering displays throughout the 50-acre horticultural site in Wheaton.

Tickets are available on the Garden of Lights website only. The cost is $10 per person, and are required for everyone age 5 and older.

The event is held rain or shine. No refunds on tickets will be given.

Garden of Lights opens on Friday, Nov. 17, and runs every evening through the end of the year, except for Nov. 20-23 and Dec. 24-25, organizers said.

The twinkling lights form tunnels, flowers, animals and other natural elements. The rose garden is turned into a winter wonderland filled with white lights, more than 20 large sculptures and falling snow.

Visitors can also enjoy an elaborate model train display or warm up with hot chocolate and light snacks sold at the event. Unique seasonal items are also on sale in the Gift Shop.
