Germantown Teens Charged In 20-Year-Old's Death

A 14- and 15-year-old are being charged with first degree murder as adults in the case of 20-year-old Taon Lamont Cline's death.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Two teenagers were arrested and charged with first degree murder in the case of 20-year-old Taon Lamont Cline, who died after he was shot several times, Montgomery County Police said.

Malik Hney, 15, and Justin Acosta, 14, will be tried as adults, authorities said.

Officers found Cline the night of April 22 with multiple gunshot wounds on the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road, where he died, according to a police news release.

Police arrested Hney and Acosta May 3.
