• We now know how many Montgomery County students have been deported (thebanner.com) — Montgomery County schools, including Seneca Valley High in Germantown, have lost about a dozen students this year because they or their parents were deported, according to immigrant advocacy group CASA. Local students describe feeling terrified to attend school as ICE activity near campuses and family separations contribute to declining attendance and heightened anxiety across the county’s immigrant communities.
