Man, 20, Shot And Killed On Gunners Branch Road Friday Night

Montgomery County Police are investigating the Germantown shooting death of Taon Lamont Cline, a 20-year-old from Frederick.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A man died after he was shot on Gunners Branch Road in Germantown Friday night and Montgomery County Police detectives are looking for suspects, authorities said.

Taon Lamont Cline, a 20-year-old from Frederick, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, police said. Officers got to Gunners Branch Road at about 10:50 p.m. Friday, just after the shooting occurred, according to a police news release.

Authorities are asking for anyone with information about the shooting to call the Major Crimes Division at 240- 773- 5070 or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), and said a reward of up to $10,000 may be given to anyone with information leading to an arrest. Callers may remain anonymous, police said.
