Man Rescued From Overturned Construction Vehicle

CLARKSBURG, MD — The operator of an excavator was trapped and injured after the vehicle overturned at a construction site in Clarksburg Thursday morning, officials said.

The operator was rescued from the vehicle, which turned on its side at 22700 Clarksburg Rd.

The Tech Rescue Team helped extricate the operator, who was then transported to the hospital, chief spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Pete Piringer said.
