MOCO Schools Asks Students To Take COVID Test Before Spring Break Ends
Students in Montgomery County Public Schools return from spring break on Tuesday. The district is asking them to test for COVID-19 at home.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Ahead of Montgomery County students' return to public schools Tuesday, the district is asking all students to use rapid take-home COVID-19 test kits given out by schools.
Anyone with a positive result is asked to report it on MCPS's form and follow the quarantine guidelines.
Montgomery County isn't the only district asking students to test before heading back to the classroom. Washington, D.C. Public Schools is requiring that all students and staff show proof of a negative COVID-19 test before going back to school buildings.
