MoComCon Goes Virtual Due To COVID-19 Spread, Library Says
The sixth annual comic convention was scheduled to be at the Germantown Public Library on Jan. 15. The events will be held online instead.

GERMANTOWN, MD — The sixth annual MoComCon, a comic convention scheduled for Jan. 15, will be held online instead of at the Germantown Public Library due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.
The convention is for all fans of comics, graphic novels or fandoms. The convention organizers say it's an event for all ages.

- Superhero Storytime, 10:30 to 11 a.m.
- Craft Demos, 11 to 11:45 a.m.
- Toy Design: From Screen to Shelf, noon to 1 p.m.
- Gamer Trivia, 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
- Board Games: The Creative Process, 2:30 t0 3:30 p.m.
- Art Contest Slideshow, 3:45 to 4 p.m.
