Murder-Suicide Investigation Underway In Germantown
MOCO Police are looking into the deaths of two people who were found in a parking lot this week as a murder-suicide, authorities said.
GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County Police are investigating the deaths of two people found in a Germantown townhome community's parking lot as a murder-suicide, authorities said Tuesday.
Michelle Carter, 50, and Richard Maurice Harris, 51, were found dead after officers responded to calls of gunshots just after 9 a.m. Monday on the 8900 block of Highstream Drive.
Police said they believe Harris was the shooter and Carter was the victim. They had previously been in a relationship, authorities said.

Both had gunshot wounds and a handgun was found nearby, police said in a news release.
