Parks Spooktacular Kid-Friendly Halloween Event Set For Germantown

Parks Spooktacular, a family-friendly Halloween celebration on Oct. 23, invites kids in costume ages 2 to 12, as well as dogs on a leash.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery Parks announces Parks Spooktacular, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration for ages 2 to 12 to be held in Germantown.

“Parks Spooktacular will be a great opportunity for families to get outside and celebrate Halloween together,” said Stephanie Ryan, Montgomery Parks event operations specialist, in a news release. “We hope everyone enjoys the inflatables, performances, and giveaways, as well as the always entertaining Adventure Playground.”

Costumes are encouraged and dogs on leash are welcome.

WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • Balloon clown roaming the Adventure Playground with balloon creations.
