Parks Spooktacular Kid-Friendly Halloween Event Set For Germantown

GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery Parks announces Parks Spooktacular, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration for ages 2 to 12 to be held in Germantown.

“Parks Spooktacular will be a great opportunity for families to get outside and celebrate Halloween together,” said Stephanie Ryan, Montgomery Parks event operations specialist, in a news release. “We hope everyone enjoys the inflatables, performances, and giveaways, as well as the always entertaining Adventure Playground.”

Costumes are encouraged and dogs on leash are welcome.

WHAT: Parks Spooktacular, a free, family-friendly celebration

WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE: Adventure Playground at South Germantown Recreational Park,
17920 Germantown Park Drive, Germantown

PERFORMANCES

• The Puppet Co. performing “Little Red Riding Hood & The 3 Little Pigs” Showtimes at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
• A magician performing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Kid’s DJ spinning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Balloon clown roaming the Adventure Playground with balloon creations.
