• Former MoCo Church Teacher Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Minors (patch.com) — Germantown residents are learning that a 34-year-old man from their community, who taught at a Derwood church, has been sentenced to 55 years in prison with all but 20 years suspended for sexually abusing multiple children. Prosecutors say the abuse, involving victims ages 6 to 12, occurred during church classes and services, and the man will be a lifetime registered sex offender after his release.
