Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Germantown
Montgomery County police said the fatal mishap occurred around 7:35 a.m. Wednesday.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A man is dead after police said he was struck by a car on a Montgomery County road.
According to police, the collision happened around 7:35 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Frederick and Ridge Roads in Germantown.
Police said a black 2022 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Frederick Road when the driver struck a male pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Corolla remained at the scene, police said.
The Montgomery County Police Department Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the man's death. His name will be released following notification of family.
